Torah shield with inscription, adorned with a depiction of a Priest and lions with hands raised in the Priestly Benediction

Silver, repoussé, engraved, pierced, and partly gilt
Hebrew inscription mentions that the shield belongs to Mordechai Katz and his wife Galli from Weikersheim, and that it was completed on Friday, on the eve of Rosh Hashana (Hebrew New Year) [5]523 (1763)
