Hebrew inscriptions on shield: the Ten Commandments; abbreviation for Rosh Hashana (Hebrew New Year); Hebrew inscription on the pendant (probably one of three pendants, two of which are missing): a dedication to Sarel, daughter of Rabbi Moshe Tzoref, from her husband
