The plate is decorated with complex, braided interlace patterns of meticulously designed arabesques. The Bezalel buildings are depicted at the center of the plate inside a large, truncated Star of David. Underneath them is the word “Bezalel” in stylized, interlaced Hebrew letters. Stars of David also appear inside three of six small cartouches along the rim.
