Silver, repoussé, engraved and punched
Hebrew inscription, added later: "This cup was presented for the honor and glory, as a witness and safekeeping: to the great rabbi and light his honor the lofty rabbi and teacher Bezalel Segal may the Merciful One less and guard him, esteemed judge of the holy congregation and head of the Yeshiva Bumsla and surroundings for the Torah and exposition he expounded in the synagogue on the biblical chapter R'eh"; and the Hebrew year corresponding to 1750–51
