A George III mahogany dining table, supported by three pillars with four splay legs, and having four extension leaves. This table is unusual in the "concertina" mechanism which allows the basic table, which is constructed as one piece, to be extended to accomodate four extra leaves. The normal method of construction is to support the leaves on extending lopers.
