Eldar Farber, an Israeli painter, was born in Tel Aviv in 1970.
Farber worked as an assistant of the painter Yaakov Mishori. During the 90s he studied painting in New York, and in a painting and drawing workshop in Jerusalem.
Farber paints urban landscapes, views of nature at the edge of the city and still-life in a realistic style and in small formats. Farber's painting style highlights the way of seeing and painting by dismantling and assembling the image in patches of color.
Eldar Farber lives and works in Tel Aviv and Berlin.
