Rutho Modan, Graphic designer and Illustrator, born Tel Aviv, 1966.1995 founded ACTUS TRAGICUS Publishing House for alternatiave comic artists; 1996 published Graphic Novel with Etgar Keret, "Nobody Said It Was Going To Be Fun"; May 2001 member of Alternative Comics Group ACTUS. Since 2005 has been the chosen artist of the Israel Culture Excellence Foundation; 2006 received special praise, and was nominated for Angouli 1/2me Festival's Goccini Award; 2007 published "Exit Wounds", Best Comic of the Year, and nominated for the Quill Award for Best Graphic Novel.
