Dr. Boris Oicherman is an interdisciplinary researcher and an artist. He studied printing technologies, and spent five years in the research and development of Indigo digital printers where he specialised in colour management and calibration. He went on to study digital imaging and colour science, and completed his PhD in the University of Leeds, UK, where he investigated the practical consequences of inter-personal variations in colour vision. Prior to taking the research fellowship position in IDC he held the position of a senior research scientist in the HP Laboratories Israel, where he did research in image enhancement, colour management and image emotion.Currently living in Jerusalem
