Leo Ray

Leo Ray was born in Vilna, Lithuania in 1950. He graduated from the local art academy and began to work as a sculptor. In the 1980s, he took part in several group exhibitions devoted to medal design. In 1991, he immigrated to Israel. He lives and works in Tel Aviv. From the 1990s, he began to produce minimalist figurative paintings inspired by calligraphy.
